February King Of The Cage Fight Card Of International Proportions “Reckless Abandon” Brings Two Title Fights to San Manuel Casino
Thursday, February 2, 2012, “Reckless Abandon” King of the Cage fight card features an array of international and out-of-state
fighters in the first MMA event at San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino for 2012 . Tickets available now at Ticketmaster.com and the San Manuel box office for $40 and $75. Free, open
to the public weigh-in on February 1 at San Manuel Casino inside Tukut Lounge at 6:30 p.m.
The Thursday night main event is for the vacant King of the Cage Flyweight title. It
matches New Mexico native Frank Baca 12-1-0 (W-L-D) with Riverside-resident Marvin Garcia 7-1-0. Coming off his December win on San Manuel Casino’s
“Magnaflow” card, Tony Lopez 28-8-0 will take on international fighter Ryan Fortin 6-3-0 from Canada. Lopez and Fortin will fight for the Heavyweight title.
Another local favorite, David Gomez 10-4-0 will return to the San Manuel cage after his San Manuel King of the Cage win this past December. His opponent is TBD.
Other fights on the undercard include: Gabe Rivas 14-22-1 vs. Richard Solis 5-4-1; Kyle York 3-3-0 vs. TBD; Shonie Carter 50-27-7 of Chicago vs. Tony
Bonello 16-1-1; Joe Condon 6-3-0 vs. Canadian native Chad Freeman 7-3-0; Ronald Lebreton, Jr. 6-6-0 vs. Johnny Cisneros 4-0-0; Scott Merrit 5-4-0 vs. Tim Humphrey 3-2-0. *Fights are subject to change.
King of the Cage started promoting mixed martial arts events approximately 10 years ago. Since then, founder Terry Trebilcock has taken the organization to new
levels. King of the Cage continues to promote hundreds of shows throughout the world, including the United States, England, Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada, and Australia.
King of the Cage has featured well-known mixed martial arts athletes such as Forrest Griffin, Quinton Rampage Jackson, Rashad Evans, among others.
Every Thursday night with headliner entertainment, San Manuel gives away $1,000 just for seeing the show. To be eligible to win, guests only need a ticket to the
show, a Club Serrano card and to be 21 or older. Guests can enter beginning at noon on such days. Three drawings will be held on those nights: $250 at 7:20 p.m.,
$250 at 10:00 p.m. and $500 at 11:00 p.m. Winners must be present.
