utilizing multiple projection screens, interlacing rare archival footage with the world premier of brand new videos produced by Donny.
Donny & Marie made television history when the seminal variety show “The Donny &
Marie Show” debuted on ABC in 1976 --- they were the youngest hosts ever of a primetime network series. This wildly successful show solidified their worldwide fan
base still numbering in the millions. After multiple solo successes, the duo teamed up once again in 1998, hosting the nationally syndicated daytime talk show “Donny & Marie.”
Beginning his illustrious career at the age of five on The Andy Williams Show performing with The Osmond Brothers, Donny has been awarded a grand total of 33
gold records. His most recent album (his 55th), “Love Songs of the 70s” immediately went gold in the UK. His multi-faceted career includes being a national television host
(“Pyramid”), a best-selling author (his autobiography debuted at #1 on the UK bestseller list) and the Theater (over 2,000 performances starring in Andrew Lloyd Weber’s “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and most recently on
Broadway starring in Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast”). “College Road Trip,” the Disney movie in which Donny co-stars with Raven Symone and Martin Lawrence, opens this March. He has even been a champion race car driver.
Making her debut at the age of three on The Andy Williams Show, Marie has had an equally stellar recording career, making history at the age of thirteen with her very first
single, “Paper Roses,” the first time that a female artist debuted at #1 in the country music charts. She has starred in several television movies and feature films, the ABC
sitcom “Maybe This Time” co-starring with Betty White, and on stage in “The Sound of Music” and on Broadway in “The King and I.” A New York Times best-selling author
(“Behind The Smile”), Marie was a judge on Fox’s “Celebrity Duets” in 2006 and was most recently a finalist on the #1 smash series, ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Her
award-winning “Marie Osmond Fine Porcelain Collector Doll” line, debuted in 1991 on QVC, and has grown into one of the most beloved doll lines in the industry.
The Children’s Miracle Network, a project of the Osmond Foundation, the Osmond family charity which Marie oversees, has thus far raised almost $4 billion for children’s hospitals in North America, and will soon expand internationally. ![]()
Comedian Roseanne Barr Announces an Engagement
at the Sahara Hotel and CasinoEmmy award-winning comedian Roseanne Barr brings her everyday humor and observations to the Sahara Hotel and
Casino. Barr will perform in the Sahara’s legendary Congo Room, a 520-capacity entertainment venue, with a 9:30 p.m. show time.
“Fresh out of rehab and ready to PARTY! Seriously though,
I'm thrilled to be back in Las Vegas for another run and cannot wait to see you all at The Sahara,” said Barr.
As one of the most notable names in the comedic industry, Barr holds honors as one of the highest ranked comics,
landing at #9 on Comedy Central’s list of 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time.
Roseanne Barr will appear for one show nightly at 9:30 p.m., Saturday through
Wednesday in the Congo Room of the Sahara Hotel and Casino. Ticket prices begin at $59.50 (inclusive of all taxes and fees); limited VIP and Golden Circle seats are also available.
Following a move to Los Angeles in 1983 to pursue stand-up comedy, Barr was extremely successful, landing her first television appearance on the Johnny Carson
Show in 1985. Little did she know that, more than 20 years later, fate would bring her to the Sahara’s Congo Room, where Carson himself performed. A few years later,
Barr began taping her namesake show, which launched her to household fame. The series ran for nine seasons, picking up four Emmys, two Golden Globes, six People’s Choice Awards and many other accolades.
The show propelled her career and soon Barr branched out to show the world that her talent extended beyond television comedy. Releasing two best-selling books,
“Roseanne: My Life as a Woman” and “My Lives,” established Barr as an author; a run as the Wicked Witch of the West in a production of The Wizard of Oz showed Barr
could handle the theatre-side of the industry, The Roseanne Show proved she had the power to connect with audiences in a talk show-style setting; and, Barr has now extended herself into children’s books and DVDs.

longest-running Broadway musical on The Strip as the show celebrated 2,000 successful performances on Sunday, May 4 at the Mandalay Bay Theatre. Slated to run through January 2009, MAMMA MIA! recently celebrated five record
-breaking years in Las Vegas.
MAMMA MIA! sets the precedent for musicals in Las Vegas, as no other full-length Broadway show has ever enjoyed such enduring
success on The Strip. Based on the songs of ABBA, this smash hit musical continues to be adored by locals and tourists alike.
Since the show premiered in February 2003…
MAMMA MIA! has used 600 yards of spandex and more than 150,000 sequins to create costumes for The Dynamos
3,170 light bulbs have been replaced in the uniquely raked stage since production first
began – more than likely due to damage caused by the disco-era platforms of The Dynamos.

Seen by over 30 million people worldwide, and with three companies currently playing in North America, MAMMA MIA! has more productions playing around the world
than any other current Broadway musical. The phenomenon that Liz Smith calls “The most popular musical in the world!,” has surpassed a gross of $2 Billion in worldwide box office sales.

years ago. Songs including “Dancing Queen”; “The Winner Takes It All”; “Money, Money, Money” and “Take A Chance on Me” are all featured in this feel-good night of fun and laughter.
