At MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, July 25
Aerosmith Rejoins Forces with Guitar Hero®: Aerosmith® for Rock Event of the Summer
The rock event of the summer is coming to Las Vegas when one of America’s greatest rock ‘n’
roll bands, Aerosmith, rejoins forces with Guitar Hero®: Aerosmith®. Aerosmith has sold more than 150 million albums, won four Grammy Awards and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The massive Aerosmith tour,
presented by Guitar Hero®: Aerosmith®, will stop at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, July 25. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. with special guests ZZ Top.
Tickets priced at $185.48, $95 and $55, not including applicable service charges and taxes, go on sale Saturday, April 25 at 10 a.m. at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster
locations (select Smith’s Food and Drug Centers and Ritmo Latino). Ticket sales are limited to 10 per person. To charge by phone with a major credit card call Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Tickets also are available at
www.ticketmaster.com.
Aerosmith, featuring Steven Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (guitar), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums), made history last year
when Activision released Guitar Hero®: Aerosmith®. This marked the first music-based game built around the legendary music of Aerosmith. The groundbreaking
partnership united “America’s greatest hard rock act” (Mojo, May ‘07) with the massively successful video game franchise. Sales exploded and broke records with Aerosmith reaching a new generation of fans.
This summer’s dates follow Aerosmith’s 2007 worldwide tour that encompassed 35 dates in 20 countries, including their first-ever concert in India. Highlights included the band headlining a crowd of 50,000 fans on the second night of Hard
Rock Café’s London Calling event in Hyde Park. Known for its incomparable chemistry and trademark electrifying performances, Aerosmith also triumphantly performed in packed stadiums in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico, and culminated
their overseas domination with two unforgettable shows in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia.
For more than 30 years Aerosmith has defined American rock ‘n’ roll. The band
has earned countless awards including four Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards, six Billboard Awards and 12 MTV Awards. The band has performed electrifying sold-out concerts around the world and has a worldwide fan
-base numbering in the millions. The members of Aerosmith remain creatively vital and are the platinum standard for artistic and commercial success in the music
business. Through it all, they have undeniably withstood the test of time. Aerosmith also is currently in studio working on a new album. For more
information on the group as well as fan club tickets visit www.aeroforceone.com.
Now celebrating its 40th anniversary, special guest ZZ Top features Billy F
Gibbons (guitar/vocals), Dusty Hill (bass/vocals) and Frank Beard (drums). The band formed in 1969 and played its first show in February 1970 at the Knights of
Columbus Hall in Beaumont, Texas. The personnel line-up for “that little ole’ band from Texas” has not changed in the intervening years, a claim which no other major
band can make. Along the way, the band has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2004), named Official Heroes of the State of Texas (1986) and cited for Best Group Video and Best Direction at the first MTV Video Music
Awards. Texas Governor Ann Richards also declared May 4, 1991 as “ZZ Top Day” in their home state.
ZZ Top performed at the 1997 Super Bowl halftime show and their landmark
album, Eliminator, was in the first group of recordings to achieve RIAA’s Diamond status in recognition of domestic sales in excess of 10 million units. Their latest album, Live From Texas, was released last year and debuted at No. 1 on
Billboard’s music DVD chart.
The band members attribute their consistency to the fact that they are “the same three guys playing the same three chords.” Aerosmith’s Joe Perry also said, “I
have always been a huge fan of ZZ Top. I toured with them with the Joe Perry Project and those shows were unforgettable. With ZZ Top on this bill, it will definitely kick us into overdrive.”

Robert Dubac’s The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron? Brings Blend of Theater and Comedy to the Suncoast Showroom July 31 – August 2
During a limited engagement, actor and writer Robert Dubac ransacks his brain
to answer the age-old question, “What do women want?” in Robert Dubac’s The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron?, coming to the Suncoast Showroom July 31 – August 2.
As seen on Late Show with David Letterman, this one-man show’s
clever combination of theater and stand-up comedy pinpoints the differences between the sexes and then celebrates them with 90 minutes of non-stop laughter. It is a multi-character comedy with Dubac playing all the roles.
When
the show opens, the audience meets "Bobby" in a confused state. Having found the girl of his dreams and having asked her to marry him, she gently dumps him. Unable to determine why, Bobby recalls some not-so-wise but nevertheless
hilarious advice he received growing up with five chauvinistic mentors. Dubac then seamlessly transforms himself into five alter egos, each offering misguided advice. Bobby realizes the advice is mostly worthless, but with help from his
feminine side he discovers the real answer to, "What do women want?" And he does it all while drinking a beer.
Having toured the country for 10 years, Robert Dubac’s The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron?, produced by
Franzblau Media Inc., has been hailed by critics from coast to coast. The Boston Globe proclaims, "Robert Dubac is talented, entertaining and very funny!" Los Angeles Times says, "The show elicits big laughs from both sexes
in waves of treble and bass.”
Dubac began performing at an early age, and by 14 had a magic act that took him from his home city of Atlanta to gigs up and down the East Coast. He studied drama while his act evolved into a
stand-up comedy routine and has toured with such greats as Kenny Loggins, Linda Ronstadt and Jimmy Buffett. Dubac worked in films, sitcoms and daytime television before creating his hit show Robert Dubac’s The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron?
In 2006 Dubac launched the show’s sequel, Robert Dubac’s Male Intellect: The 2nd Coming!
Tickets are now available at $19.95, plus tax. Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 702.636.7075.

Classic Vegas isn’t gone, you just have to know where to look for it
As one of the longest-running shows on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the retro
-glam showgirl extravaganza Jubilee! at Bally’s Las Vegas has entertained more than 11 million guests. On July 31 the show celebrates 28 years of gorgeous showgirls, lavish costumes, dazzling scenery, world
-renowned specialty acts, dynamic music and graceful pageantry.
Conceived, staged and directed by the legendary Donn Arden, who brought the spectacular French-style revue “Lido de Paris” to Las Vegas, Jubilee! is an
elaborate stage production.
Critics from the Travel Channel/BBC, New York Times and Las Vegas Review Journal have hailed Jubilee! as the best showgirl show noting that “in an era of high
-tech productions the timeless musical of Jubilee! is the last of its kind.” Iconic showgirls from Jubilee! have been seen on “The View,” NBC’s ‘The Today Show,” “Last Comic Standing,” “The Tyra Banks Show” and “The Montel Williams Show.”
To commemorate the anniversary Bally’s Las Vegas is offering a special hotel package. The glamorous getaway includes a minimum two night hotel stay in a
Bally’s deluxe room appointed in an art deco style, two tickets to Jubilee!, 2-for-1 Bally’s Spa entrance and $50 dining credit. Reservations can be made online at www.BallysLasVegas.com.
Jubilee! is performed twice nightly, six days a week at 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., dark on Fridays. Ticket prices are $52.50, $72.50, $92.50 and $112.50 and can be purchased online at www.BallysLasVegas.com or by calling the Bally’s box

A limited-capacity backstage tour offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays gives guests a once-in-a-lifetime behind the scenes look at both the historical and technical aspects of the show.
To maintain the highest show quality, auditions are held every January and July for dancers and singers. Next month show management will host open auditions in Orlando, New York and the entertainment capital Las Vegas, to find talent that
sparkles greater than the rhinestones on each costume. Aspiring female and male dancers are required to have strong ballet and jazz technique while singers are required to have range between up-tempo classic Broadway to ballads.
As the only showgirl show standing, Jubilee! embodies the very essence of sexy, classic Las Vegas. Earlier this month the show kicked off a new creative campaign.
Tag lines reading “The headdress weighs 35 lbs. but the rest of the costume could fit in a teacup,” and “The grandest entrance in Vegas isn’t at the front of a hotel”
remind audiences about the glamour and spectacle of 85 women wearing little more than feathers and rhinestones.
