Staying And Playing In Nevada

From glitz to glamour, to adventure and thrills, visitors to Nevada can do it all without leaving their hotel. Whether you are planning a family trip or a romantic getaway to pamper yourself in unparalleled luxury, Nevada has a resort experience for every taste and budget.

Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Strip is an exciting adventure where you can stay in a pyramid, go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, take a graceful and romantic glide down the Grand Canal in an authentic Venetian gondola, visit the Big Apple complete with Statue of Liberty replica and Coney Island-esque roller coaster, or take in the tropical paradises, volcanoes, and waterfalls all at one time. Las Vegas has 18 of the 20 largest hotels in the United States.

You can spend an afternoon in Las Vegas lying on the beach at one of the luxurious resorts with its 11-acre tropical lagoon and swim-up shark tank, or you take short walk to an eight-acre lake with more than 1,000 "dancing" fountains and an indoor garden that transforms with the seasons before taking in the abundant nightlife on the Strip.

Las Vegas is the "Entertainment Capital of the World." Reno and Lake Tahoe
Reno and Lake Tahoe has an enormous number of outdoor recreational activities. Whether youReno whitewater park are kayaking down the Truckee River in Reno, skiing in gorgeous Lake Tahoe, exploring more than 900 miles of hiking and biking trails, or hitting the links on one of 50 signature golf courses, there is no place like Reno and Lake Tahoe.

Visitors can choose from 20,000 guestrooms at top-notch resort casinos that provide fine dining and headline entertainment, 24-hour gaming, award-winning spas and exciting nightlife.

Downtown Reno has three casinos that are connected so you can walk from one property to another without stepping outside.  Other properties are within a short walk.

The Atlantis and the Peppermill are located a few miles south of downtown near the Convention Center. The Peppermill which began as a small coffee shop has grown to include 1,280 rooms and suites, eight restaurants, 12 themed bars and a salon and spa.

Lake Tahoe has several resorts that offer panoramic views of the majestic lake and Lake Tahoe_summer sandharborbreathtaking mountains.  The South Shore of Lake Tahoe has several resorts within walking distance of each other. 

Skiing in the winter and sailing in the summer makes Lake Tahoe a perfect getaway for families or for a romantic interlude to pamper yourself.

Laughlin
Laughlin, located 90 miles southeast of Las Vegas, fronts the majestic Colorado River. Its hotel-casinos feature mainstays suchlaughlin balloons as giant gaming halls, showrooms and restaurants. Nearly 11,000 hotel/motel rooms are available in Laughlin, and 22 RV parks and nine mobile home parks are found in the Laughlin/Bullhead City, Ariz., area. Laughlin's resorts offer Nevada players a choice of almost 12,000 slot machines and nearly 400 live table games.

The city is named after Don Laughlin, a pioneer hotelier/investor who purchased a boarded-up motel on the riverbank in 1966. It evolved into the lucrative Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino and became the cornerstone of one of the fastest growing communities and gaming resorts in Nevada.

The Colorado River creates a natural setting for sports and recreation. Some hotel -casinos and private vendors operate sightseeing boats that cruise the river; weddings can even be arranged aboard ship. Water taxis operate daily, whisking guests between riverfront properties. Here, too, travelers delight in a variety of river activities such as sport fishing, jet boating, water skiing, canoeing and kayaking.

Mesquite
Mesquite, 80 miles north of Las Vegas and near the Utah border, offers indoor and Mesquite WolfCreek Golfoutdoor adventure. Visitors are free to explore the surrounding picturesque desert, tee off at their choice of world-class golf courses, indulge in fine dining or pamper themselves at luxury spas.

Mesquite is a year-round playground in the heart of the Virgin River Valley. The community was founded in 1894 but remained a sleepy stopover for motorists until the '70s, when a development boom began. Travelers have a choice of nearly 3,000 rooms in four hotels and five motels. Major hotel-casinos, ranging in size from 200 to 950 rooms, offer golf, spas, fine dining and action-packed casinos.

Primm/Jean
Primm, 35 minutes from Las Vegas on the CaliforniaBB-Night-1-Nevada border, has it all -
shopping, dining, gaming, big-name entertainment, golf, one of the world's tallest and fastest roller coasters, theaters, virtual reality rides, water slides and the intriguing vintage cars that once belonged to Bonnie and Clyde, Dutch Schultz and Al Capone.

There are three hotel-casinos in Primm, the first Nevada town encountered by motorists driving in from Southern California on Interstate 15. Each property is linked to the other by a free monorail system.

Jean is located 12 miles north of Primm and 25 minutes south of Las Vegas and has one casino.
