The Eldorado is cooking up a spectacular all-you-can-eat Mother's Day extravaganza at Chefs' Buffet that you won't want to miss.
Mom will love the champagne brunch served in Chefs' Buffet from 8 am to 3 pm with a delightful dinner to follow from 3 pm to 9:30 pm. The menu will feature all your favorite foods including carved prime rib, carved turkey, honey mustard ham, roasted lamb with mint brown sauce and broiled sirloin steak with mushroom sauce. Delicious breakfast favorites such as made-to-order omelettes, Texas style french toast and cheese blintzes with blueberry sauce will be served, crisp smoked bacon, potatoes O'Brien, as well as snow crab and peel and eat shrimp. Other items will include broiled salmon, smoked mussels with penne pasta, pan roasted stuffed pork loin and the Eldorado's famous mushroom ravioli. As always, the buffet will offer fresh fruits and salads such as Ambrosia and spinach salad, Mongolian grill barbecue and decadent homemade pastries, desserts and breads. This elegant holiday brunch is just $14.99 for adults and $6.99 for kids under 10.

Cakebread Cellars Winemaker Dinner At The Peppermill
The well-known wines of Cakebread Cellars will be featured at the Peppermill Hotel Casino's winemaker dinner in its award-winning White Orchid on Tuesday, May 28.
Jake Cakebread founded the Cakebread Cellars of Napa Valley in 1973. Over the years, Jack has developed a reputation for producing some of the highest quality wines in Napa Valley. On average 75,000 cases of wine are produced annually from the Cakebread Cellars.
The evening begins with a reception at 6:30 pm featuring a 2000 Cakebread Estate Sauvignon Blanc. Dinner is served at 7 pm and begins with Maine lobster Napoleon with herb potato tuiles with a 1998 Cakebread Reserve Chardonnay.
This is followed by a sautéed skate wing with braised cabbage, tempura baby blue oyster mushrooms and sage brown butter complemented with a 1996 Cakebread Merlot.
A strawberry sorbet with poached rhubarb and kiwi-champagne jus will cleanse the pallet for the entrees beginning with roasted herb-crusted antelope loin with a medley of fiddlehead ferns, fava beans and porcini mushrooms (1996 Cakebread Cabernet Sauvignon and 1997 Cakebread Cabernet Sauvignon).
Guests will then ejoy a pan-seared tournedo of Kobe beef with poached marrow, black truffle-potato threads, and micro green salad (1995 Cakebread Cabernet Sauvignon).
For dessert, guests will be served a warm three-point apricot tart with apricot and ginger compote (1982 Rutherford Gold Sauvignon Blanc Botrytis).
The cost for this spectacular winemaker dinner, prepared by the White Orchid's Chef de Cuisine Roger Morris, is $95 per guest plus tax and gratuity.

New Steakhouse Opens at Circus Circus-Reno The new Steakhouse at Circus Circus Hotel & Casino-Reno features an extensive menu and free wine sampling. The Steakhouse at Circus Circus promises to deliver the tried and true flavors appreciated by meat lovers everywhere.
Begin your meal with an appetizer selection such as the classic Shrimp Cocktail, a Crab and Artichoke dip or Potato Gnocchi Gratinee. Soup and Salad lovers will be able to mix and match to create the perfect meal. Featured soups are Baked French Onion and Baked Potato, Cheddar Cheese and Beer, while salad selections include fresh Spinach and tossed tableside Caesar.
All of the USDA choice steaks are seasoned with a special blend of spices and charbroiled over a seasoned brick broiler. Meat selections include Filet Mignon, New York Steak, Porterhouse, Bone-in Rib Steak, and a $9 Prime Rib. Other entrées include Chicken, Baby Back Ribs, Pork Chops, and seafood selections.
Any delicious dinner would not be complete without a decadent dessert like the four-layer Chocolate Fudge Cake, New York style Cheesecake, Bourbon Pecan Pie, or the restaurant's signature dessert - Baked Alaska.
